Management Angels are thought leaders in German national newspaper

This month, an article in the premier German daily Handelsblatt (19 June) explored how smaller companies can harness the opportunities of international export.

Erdwig Holste, Managing Director of Management Angels, brought insight and focus to the feature, highlighting the role of experienced executive interims. An executive interim can bring international expertise gained in large companies to smaller, ambitious organisations.

He said: “Many of these experts and managers have several years of corporate careers and projects in large companies behind them. When they are called into a medium-sized company, they bring their knowledge of the tools, processes and contacts needed and the key figures that should be looked at. And they can break down corporate know-how to match the needs and opportunities of smaller companies.”

Holste went on to explain the relevance of the WIL Group as a global provider, through which companies have access to a pool of 38,500 executive interim managers in 37 countries, including many executive interims who have considerable experience in opening new export market opportunities.

The article as a whole highlighted the reluctance of smaller companies to export and went on to showcase examples of companies that are driving major success through the approach.

We welcome opportunities like this where we can focus the minds of business leaders on the benefits that they stand to gain from interim appointments. And we look forward to seeing an upturn in demand for executive interims with export expertise as a result of this excellent article!
