Extracts from interviews with WIL Group’s latest members
Jonas Koch, Michaël Berglund – Sweden
Interim management is a relatively new way of working in Sweden, but it is booming.
Since 1985 Michaël Berglund AB has become one of Sweden’s leading executive search consultancies, and our interim business started in January 2013. Our strongest presence is in Stockholm in Sweden, but thanks to the WIL Group we are beginning to work on a number of cross-border opportunities.
We joined the WIL Group because we wanted to help Swedish companies to find new candidates abroad, and also to support Swedish candidates in finding new opportunities and assignments. So far, it is working well and we are excited to see what 2017 will bring.
Janco Duvekot, Mandaat – The Netherlands
Interim management is well-established in The Netherlands. When we took over the interim practice of Mandaat in 2009, Holland was in a financial crisis and the market was sluggish. There wasn’t a great deal of demand, but the supply was plentiful. So we looked to diversify, placing heavy emphasis on restructuring work.
One of our main areas of focus is around developing international work, which was a big incentive for joining the WIL Group and we hope to achieve a great deal more of this.
Andrea Suter, The GroNova Group – Switzerland
Our businesses main focus is around transformation management, with a real emphasis on the industrial sector.
“All of our clients are international, and working with WIL Group opens up a new network and opportunities for us. We can now provide support from China to India and the US – it’s an exciting time, and great to be part of this.”
